I began my career in 1994 at the Independent Department of Endocrinology of the Albert Szent-Györgyi University of Medicine in Szeged.
For two years I worked mainly with endocrine patients; rare endocrine diseases were also seen in this department, so even as a young doctor I was able to gain considerable experience in the care of endocrine patients.
Later I moved to Szombathely, where I worked at the 1st Department of Internal Medicine of Markusovszky Hospital, as well as at its diabetology and endocrinology outpatient clinics. In addition to my own specialty, the department also covered nephrology, immunology and angiology, so I became familiar with the broad spectrum of internal medicine. I also took part in the work of the Emergency Department.
I passed my board examinations in internal medicine in 1999, in endocrinology in 2001 and in clinical pharmacology in 2005, and obtained my diabetology licence in 2009. For family reasons, I moved to Zalaegerszeg in 2009.
From 2012 to 2021, I worked at the endocrinology and diabetology outpatient clinic of Kanizsai Dorottya Hospital in Nagykanizsa.
Until December 2023, I was involved in the outpatient endocrine care of Markusovszky Hospital in Szombathely.
In my work, I strive to approach my patients’ problems holistically.
I hold an advanced-level English and an intermediate-level German language certificate.
