Hotel Európa Fit****superior in Hévíz is famous far and wide for its excellent cuisine. The dishes are always flavourful, special, fresh and varied, and the buffet is just as impeccable at 21:00 as it is at opening time. The same, of course, goes for breakfast. The quality of ingredients is the hotel’s top priority. Beyond the now almost clichéd focus on “healthy” eating, avoiding additives is becoming increasingly important, and this is something the hotel also places great emphasis on.

Start the day right
Our hotel breakfast won’t disappoint. The buffet offers more than 150 different dishes, so everyone can put together a breakfast to suit their taste.
After an active morning, lunch in the hotel restaurant is always welcome. Choose from a varied buffet or the daily menu. If you just fancy a snack or a smaller dish, take your pick from the club offers at Mandarin Bar & Café. In summer, you can enjoy a light lunch or an ice cream speciality at our outdoor Acapulco Grill & Lounge, along with freshly squeezed vegetable and fruit juices and cocktails.
Somló sponge cake (somlói galuska) is our house speciality. Our cakes are made with seasonal fruit, and our dessert buffet always includes sweet treats based on our grandmothers’ tried-and-tested recipes.
Dinner after a pleasant day is an adventurous journey into the world of gastronomy. Our buffet features traditional Hungarian dishes, vegetarian options and regional specialities from Zala County, alongside grandma’s homemade cakes.
After our delicious cold starters, try our traditional soups. Next come the roasts, carved fresh for you. Every evening we serve a fish dish and a main course with a Hungarian touch. You will always find a vegetarian dish at the buffet, and of course side dishes and a salad bar are part of the selection too.

Food intolerances and special diets
Our chefs are ready to cater for guests with allergies or intolerances to gluten, lactose, milk protein, eggs, soy, etc., as well as for guests following a particular lifestyle diet (e.g. vegan, paleo or other alternative diets), provided they have notified the hotel of their requirements in advance.
When you enter the restaurant, please let our staff know if you have ordered a special diet from the hotel in advance.
Dishes prepared for guests on special diets are not placed on the buffet, so that we can guarantee them for the guests who ordered them. Our daily offer has been designed for the most common cases: as part of half board, we provide a soup, a starter, a main course and a dessert at dinner, and breakfast drinks, bakery products and cold cuts at breakfast. For multiple intolerances or special requests, a personalised diet can also be ordered in advance for an additional HUF 3,000 per day per meal. This is payable on top of the half-board rate and applies to breakfast and dinner.
Without advance notice, we cannot guarantee a special diet at our hotel. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide personalised meals for guests with particular, severe food allergies.

You have probably watched popular cooking competitions, and we hope that as our guest you have already taken part in our earlier “Kukta” programme, where we cooked, ate and chatted with well-known Hungarian celebrities. Combining the two, we created FitKitchen, where our usual boundless hospitality comes with a professional venue.
