I have been working in urology for more than 35 years. My key areas of expertise are the treatment of urinary incontinence and the diagnosis of urological cancers. I welcome my patients with professional thoroughness and an empathetic, personalised approach.
I graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Semmelweis University of Medicine in 1986. After obtaining my degree, I began working at the Urology Department of Veszprém County Hospital, where I obtained my board certification in urology in 1990. Since 2014, I have held the position of senior consultant.
During my career, alongside inpatient care and surgical activity, I have also gained considerable experience in outpatient care. In 1994, I opened a private urology practice in Tapolca, which I ran for nearly 30 years. In my work, I have dealt with a wide range of urological problems in women and men, from children to the elderly.
My professional experience was further broadened by twenty years of work at a fertility centre in Tapolca, and I have also continuously worked in publicly funded outpatient specialist care and in hospitals. I have continuously expanded – and continue to expand – my experience and professional knowledge at Hungarian training courses and conferences, and I regularly follow and study the professional literature.
Since 2024, I have been working at the Urology Department of Szent Rafael Hospital of Zala County in Zalaegerszeg, following the closure of the inpatient urology department in Veszprém.
My particular areas of interest include the treatment of urinary incontinence and the diagnosis and treatment of urological cancers. However, thanks to my decades of broad experience, patients can turn to me with confidence with any urological complaint.
In my work, I consider empathetic, attentive patient care and personalised attention particularly important, so that my patients feel safe and leave the consultation satisfied and better informed.
