Ageing: 12 years in oak barrels
Colour: amber

Aroma: a rich bouquet in which sweet and spicy notes blend harmoniously. Hints of banana, candied ginger, cinnamon, cocoa and creamy caramel are followed by aromas reminiscent of rum-punch ice cream and fruit tart.

Taste & finish: alongside its full-bodied tropical fruit character, soft chocolate and sweet toffee notes dominate. Vibrant orange nuances and delicate vanilla tones enrich the flavour, and its complex profile ends in a long, mature and refined finish.

Equiano Original

Origin: Caribbean
Ageing: in ex-bourbon and ex-cognac oak barrels
Colour: mahogany

Aroma: like every fine premium dark rum, Equiano radiates a pleasant tropical warmth. Dried fruits such as raisins and dates take the lead, paired with sweet caramel and butter toffee, followed by subtle notes of orange peel, vanilla and buttery oak.

Taste & finish: it carries all the natural sweetness typical of rums aged in ex-bourbon casks. Warm caramel and butter toffee mingle with sweet raisins and brown sugar, gradually unfolding on the palate. The finish is medium-sweet, with oak, anise, pepper and a touch of bitter orange peel.

Zacapa 23 Solera Gran Reserva

Origin: Guatemala
Ageing: matured in three types of cask – American ex-bourbon, Spanish sherry and Pedro Ximénez – and contains rums aged up to 23 years
Colour: mahogany

Aroma: it opens gently, with sweet caramel, vanilla, cocoa and butter toffee to the fore. The Solera process, which brings together the character of three different woods, adds depth, with hints of sherry, Brazil nuts, hazelnuts, caramelised banana and dried pineapple.

Taste & finish: wonderfully complex and full-bodied, a truly exceptional experience. Sweet notes are complemented by nutmeg, vanilla, coffee and tobacco, and the finish is intense, with distinct cinnamon and ginger tones.

Origin: Guatemala
Ageing: a minimum of four years in cask
Colour: mahogany

Aroma: sweet and honeyed with ripe date tones, followed by vanilla, chocolate and raisins from the barrel ageing.

Taste & finish: creamy and sweet, with notes of honey, buttery pastry and ripe fruit – raisins, dates, prunes – as well as vanilla and cola. Roasted nuts and a hint of candied orange complete the flavour.
